i’m a wedding and party planner, originally from sonoma county, who lives in san francisco and produces events throughout the bay area. you can call me maryann or orange.

i’m a community-builder with 11 years of experience producing creative, witty, sparkly events through which people build connections and explore art. galas, weddings, festivals, and other celebrations are my passion, and i'm particularly good at designing cozy and friendly multi-day events for 200-1500 participants.
i have a master’s degree in urban planning from MIT, where i focused on community development in both physical neighborhoods and virtual spaces, and i spent a lot of time thinking about the use of arts and culture to engage people in their communities. before grad school i spent a decade as an environmental planner, writing environmental impact statements and thinking about waste management and sustainability.
i like dancing, community, knee socks, science fiction, and the city of san francisco. i think intentional communities are pretty great, and i think that making space for celebration is extremely important.
